Phenomenal experience!!! Dr. Joanna is extremely knowledgeable, accurately diagnosed me, gave me the work to do to correct my injuries, helped and encouraged me through the process. I have been having the most amazing experience with Onyx Physical Therapy and Wellness. I started working with Joanna a few weeks ago for help with neuromuscular re-education and gait training. I went from couch to OCR athlete to Ultra runner in 2 and a half years, and my body didn't know how to catch up. I also have missing connective tissue and chronic pain, which makes movement and balance more challenging for me. Joanna has been patient and has taken the time to get to know me and create a personalized plan of action to help me keep racing, improve my form, and prevent a lot of the injuries I have had in the past. I am so excited that after my 33 mile trail race over the weekend, I don't have any injuries and I'm eager to keep training so I'll be ready for my next race. Joanna is very knowledgeable and takes time to not only teach me all of the movements, but also explain how they are going to help me get stronger and be a better athlete. I found Onyx Physical therapy through a friend after I injure my knee. After just an hour and half at the center I left with more Knowledge and hope for my recovery! I am already feeling much better and know that I will be back to my active lifestyle before I know it! The app is also super helpful and gives me videos of how to do my home exercises!!!! I can’t speak high enough of my experience with Onyx PT. After a full rupture and repair of my Achilles I had started physical therapy with a large PT group in the area. My progress there was stalling, and I felt passed around with no consistency week to week. I sought out Jac and Jo at Onyx, and after one session I knew I was in good hands. Jac was knowledgeable and personable and pushed me just far enough each session to make real progress quickly. The studio is well equipped and private and I genuinely enjoyed going each week. Any rehabilitation program or goal for strengthening here takes into consideration your most immediate  needs, long term goals and your body’s current limitations.  There is nothing “cookie cutter” about this center.  Jacqualynn Gordon provides high caliber physical therapy that reflects both her  competence and caring!  I have benefited from the fact that she can pivot quickly when I am unable to do an exercise.   She  expertly modifies to something else that meets me where I am at the moment. I started PT with Jacqualynn to help me deal with chronic stiffness in my neck and was amazed to start feeling relief in the very first session!!
