Golf Performance Assessment
Functional Golf Assessment &
Musculoskeletal Testing
Helping golfers treat injuries, stay out of pain & move better.
Who benefits from a golf assessment?
Titleist Performance Institute developed a philosophy to assess, improve and strengthen golfers at any level. Whether you are in pain or looking to optimize your performance, our TPI certified therapist can help you. Our musculoskeletal analysis, will provide all the information you need to understand the root cause of your injury, which is the first step to putting it right.
Developed by a board of golf professionals, leaders in fitness and doctors in various fields, TPI uses research backed movement screens and to accurately assess your movement patterns, gaining data driven insight into your biomechanics for individualized treatment plans and optimal recovery.
What To Expect During a Golf Assessment
Video analysis of your swing is taken at initial evaluation to determine your movement efficiency. This can help confirm our findings in the movement assessment, making our analysis and treatment plan personalized to you and your golf performance.
We take your through the TPI golf assessment that is developed around golf mechanics. Once we have completed the initial golf movement screen we will take you through a more detailed movement assessment to determine any mobility or movement deficiencies.
We carry-out a series of objective clinical tests to quantify your strength, range of motion, alignment and function.
By combining the results of your gait analysis and musculoskeletal tests, we have all the information we need to understand how and why your body is moving the way it is. This is the first step to our data-driven approach to your personal program.
Our doctors will review your report based off your swing mechanics, movement assessment and musculoskeletal exam to develop a comprehensive plan to address any pain and to improve overall performance.
The TPI analysis enables us to understand the cause of your injury, which is the first step to an effective and long-term performance plan.
The results of your assessment will be used to provide a data-driven plan and rehabilitation program. Each program is tailor made and specific to your individual needs. A treatment plan is recommended to help resolve your injuries and allow you to reach your goals.
Why Choose a TPI Professional?
TPI believes that golfers should match their swing style to their movement capabilities. The philosophy is simple:
There are an infinite number of ways to swing a golf club. However, there is one most-efficient way for each player to swing a club and it is based on what they can physically do.
TPI Swing analysis can help anyone that wants to golf pain-free and/or looking to improve their game.
