Hydration helps to aid digestion, which increases absorption of nutrients. Dehydration can lead to fatigue due to low blood volume which increases the amount of work the heart has to do to pump blood through the body, so a quick way to increase energy and the efficiency of the heart is to drink enough water each day to maintain a healthy blood pressure. Water helps to maintain and regulate body temperature which is key for any workout. Stay hydrated, it is the easiest and cheapest way to stay healthy and maintain athletic performance.
